About Chera...
Chera Hill is licensed with the state of Kansas to operate a Licensed
Group Daycare Home. Chera has a degree in daycare
management, her CDA (Child Development Associate)
Credential and is currentyly working towards an
associate's degree in Early Childhood. During the year she has to attend training workshops pertaining to her daycare in order to maintain her
license and to further her knowledge towards operating
her daycare and child development. She is also a
member of CCPC
(Child Care Providers Coalition of Kansas).
She lives in Sabetha, KS, is married to Chad, and has 3
children of her own (Gabby, Alex, and Rhiannon). She owns a separate house
for her daycare and it is 1 block west of the elementary school. She has been
doing daycare for over 6 years.
Chera is the main contact person for the Rolling Hills (Nemaha County) Daycare Provider
Support Group. She has completed a home-study college class in Daycare Management.
In October 2005 she obtained her CDA (Child
Development Associate) credential. Now she is trying to
finish her
associate's in Early Childhood. She is hoping
to have this completed within 2 years.
